Terms of Service
These terms form the agreement between you and Beridius when you use our financial intelligence platform.
Last updated 13 August 2026
1. Who you are contracting with
The Beridius platform, website and reports (the “Service”) are provided by Beridius (“Beridius”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or continuing to use the Service you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using Beridius on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company; if you are using it as an individual, you confirm you are of legal age in your country.
2. What the Service does
Beridius analyses financial information you provide or connect — bank statements, accounting data, invoices and manual entries — and produces dashboards, audits, reports and AI-generated explanations. Business and personal audits are sold as one-off purchases or subscription plans described on our pricing page.
Insights are generated for business and educational purposes. They are not financial, investment, legal, tax or accounting advice, and are not a recommendation to buy or sell any product or service. Decisions you take remain your own responsibility, and you should verify figures and obtain professional advice where it matters.
3. Your account
You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
4. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the Service unlawfully, fraudulently, or to send spam;
- upload data you do not have the right to upload;
- infringe anyone’s intellectual property or privacy;
- interfere with the security or integrity of the Service — no malware, probing, penetration testing without consent, scraping, or circumventing usage limits;
- reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the Service or its output as your own.
5. AI features and generated content
Parts of the Service use AI models to summarise your data, draft reports and answer questions. You are responsible for the prompts and documents you submit, for having the rights to that content, and for checking outputs before relying on them. AI output may be incomplete or inaccurate and must not be treated as regulated professional advice without human oversight.
You must not use the AI features to generate unlawful, deceptive or harmful content, including deepfakes, hate speech, malware, or attempts to bypass model safeguards. We may filter, refuse, restrict or remove content and outputs, and may suspend accounts that repeatedly breach these rules. Rights-holders can contact us to request removal of infringing content; repeat infringement leads to termination.
We do not use your data to train AI models unless you explicitly opt in, and you can withdraw that permission at any time in your workspace settings.
6. Intellectual property
Beridius retains all rights in the Service, including software, models, documentation and branding. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within the plan you have selected. You keep ownership of the data and documents you upload, and grant us a limited licence to host and process them solely to provide the Service to you.
7. Payment, subscriptions and refunds
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Payment, billing, renewal, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle’s Buyer Terms. Beridius offers a 14-day money-back guarantee on plans and one-off audits as set out in our Refund Policy. Refunds cover defects in delivery or service usability, not disagreement with advisory findings, and do not apply where the service has already been substantially consumed.
8. Service availability
We work to keep Beridius available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. Maintenance, third-party provider outages (for example a bank or accounting integration) and factors outside our control may affect the Service.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access where there is a material breach of these terms, non-payment, a security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the Service at any time. When access ends you can export your data on request for a reasonable period, after which it will be deleted or anonymised.
10. Warranties and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special losses, including loss of profit, data or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
You agree to indemnify Beridius against claims arising from content you upload, unlawful use of the Service, or breach of these terms.
11. General
We may update these terms; material changes will be communicated in the product or by email. You may not assign this agreement without our consent; we may assign it as part of a merger, acquisition or reorganisation. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over disputes.
